The control of cements requires an efficient and regular sand to ensure the comparability of tests, a small standard deviation and a maximization of production or formulation optimization options.

This is particularly the case for CEN EN 196-1 sand in a bag of 1.35kg which is already ready to use without risk of segregation of sand fractions. For products in a 25kg bag, it is conversely important to homogenize the sand before taking the volume necessary for mixing. This operation is tedious, and SNL can create mixes adapted to the volume of your batch on request whether it is on standardized sands, test sands, MBE sands or on demand sands.
