CHARACTERISTICS
The sand is natural siliceous sand with a water content lower than 0.1 %. The constituent grains are uncrushed and round-shaped. They have a silica content higher than 98%.
It is packaged in polyethylene bag of 1000 ± 10 g.
Deliveries are made in boxes of 20 bags weighing 20.5 kg and in pallets of 36 to 45 boxes with a gross weight of 750 to 935 kg, suitably protected by a polyethylene cover (road transport) or reinforced boxes (international).
CONTROLS
Grading requirement of this sand is fixed by NF T 66-061. It corresponds to 0.1/0.63. The sand average grading is:

Grading is controlled by 200 kg of sand. Water content is measured by 1000 kg batches.

Controls are carried out by SNL Laboratory.
