The standardized reference fines Q92 (formerly Kaolin Q92) are indicated in the standard for determining the Rupture Index of Cationic Bitumen Emulsions (IREC) EN 13075-1.
According to the EN 13075-1 standard, there are 3 standardized reference filers on the market: Forshammer, Sikaisol and Q92.
Q92 is packaged in hermetic 25 kg buckets after sampling, sieving and homogenization. Each batch is accompanied by a certificate of particle size analysis produced by an independent materials study centre to guarantee compliance with the particle size range of the standard.
