USAGE
Standard sands are used to control meshed cylindrical sieves and filters such as emulsion filters.
SNL has COFRAC certified sieves with the majority of normed meshes (EN, DIN, ASTM), with a range from 63µ to 8mm
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The SNL prepares sand standards to control the performance of the sieves according to standard EN 932-5

The standard sands are supplied in bottles of 60 g to 1500 g. The weight of the standard sands depends on the diameter of the sieve and the critical weight corresponding to the mesh to be tested.
You will find in each vial a certificate with the following information:
- sieve values and associated standard deviation
- the total net starting weight: P0
This Standard Reference Material Sand is reusable as many times as you want, provided that the total weight measured before use is no less than 99.5% of the weight P.
