STANDARD SAND ACCORDING TO EN 480-13
TEST METHOD OF ADMIXURE FOR MORTAR AND ADHESIVES
EN 480-13 sand is composed of natural silica sand (silica content greater than 98%) with a water content below 0.1%. Its average density is 2.63 t/m3. The constituent grains of these sands are uncrushed and round shaped.
Sand is packaged in bags of 3 440±10 g. It is used to prepare reference cement masonry mortar to assess the efficiency of admixtures.
The Grading of the standard sand is according to EN 480-3
CONTROLES
The controls are carried out by the SNL laboratory.
DELIVERY
The sand is sold in boxes of 6 bags of 3,44kg.
